SUMMARY:OFAM - Join Our Planning Committee!
DESCRIPTION:Thank you for showing your support for the Ohio Feminist Art Museum.   \nOFAM is establishing a “Planning Committee” of individuals who are interested in volunteering to assist us in identifying artists\, musicians\, poets\, authors\, changemakers and trailblazers\, whom we would promote during upcoming events.  We need your feedback and suggestions to pick women who you want to see and support.  We do pay artists to present at our events.  We want to develop a schedule of monthly events along with having a booth at upcoming art festivals\, music festivals\, and community festivals.  We need volunteers to help support these events\, along with promoting and organizing them. \nPlease join us during one of the below days and times through Office365 Teams Video meeting to discuss becoming more active within OFAM.  I know we are all very busy with our personal lives therefore\, you only need to attend one of the following times.  Then\, as a group\, we can figure out the best days and times to meeting more regularly thereafter.  If you have not received an email calendar invite\, please email me directly at mkwright@OFAMuseum.org and join out newsletter mailing list at https://ofamuseum.org/#join-list. \n\nMeeting Times:\nMay 16th\, Saturday\, 9am-10:30a\nMay 16th\, Saturday\, 1pm-2:30pm\nMay 17th\, Sunday\, 9am-10:30a\nMay 17th\, Sunday\, 1pm-2:30pm\n\nPlease feel free to share with the people you know who might be interested in joining us. I appreciate each and every one of you.\n\nI hope you have a blessed day.\n\nMK

SUMMARY:PRIDE Artist Event!
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday June 13th from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m.\, the Ohio Feminist Art Museum will be open!!! We have recently remodeled our museum and are excited about our progress in fulfilling our Mission.\n\n\n\nWe will be hosting our Ohio Pride Artist Event of 2026. We will present five amazing Feminist Artists who will be sharing their art with us\, along with selling their art. We will also be hosting the African American Drum Circle\, along with a bonfire from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.\n\n\nWe are also excited to announce Anastasia Sotnikova\, our new Program Coordinator\, will be present at this event.  She is a doctoral student in Art Administration\, Education\, and Policy at The Ohio State University\, where she focused on Museum Education. With a background in marketing communications\, she brings both strategic thinking and creativity to her work at the intersection of art\, education\, and community engagement. She is especially interested in how art can bring people together—her research explores ways to foster dialogue among artists\, institutions\, and diverse communities while creating more inclusive and meaningful experiences. Drawing on queer\, feminist\, and participatory approaches\, she works to expand access to the arts and deepen how audiences connect with them.\n\n\nJOIN US in our small part in trying to make a difference in this world.\n\nArtists include:\nLisa Morris\, Debb Cusick\, Kenia LaMarr\, Eve Silina\, K. Rossi.
