Psyche has been practicing Wicca since 1983; she is an initiated high priestess and leader within the Pagan community. Her love of labyrinths developed as an extension of her spiritual path\, but she believes labyrinths can be meaningful to anyone of any path\, or of none.  \n \n

Creativity and community are the goals for this gathering. DESCRIPTION:Join WQC & OFAM for an 18+ live figure-drawing session featuring trans models. All skill levels welcome; beginner instruction available. \nCost: $10/person\, 18+. To receive financial aid\, please email info@ofamuseum.org with the subject line “Request for Accommodation” and the event name you would like to participate in.  \n— \nTrans Figure Drawing\, a live figure-drawing session featuring trans models provided by the Westerville Queer Collective (WQC) and the Ohio Feminist Art Museum (OFAM). \nWe will begin with short\, gestural poses and gradually move onto longer ones. Beginner level instruction will be provided by a local queer artist for those who would like it. This event is 18+\, and all skill levels welcome. \nFigure drawing isn’t just a tradition for classical artists – it’s a rewarding way to connect with the human body. When going to a live figure drawing session\, it’s not always disclosed what kind of model the artists will be working with. Given today’s political landscape\, OFAM and WQC are creating space for artists to work with the trans body. This event is good for anyone who wishes to hone their skills\, diversify their subject matter\, or simply enjoy introspective\, meditative sketching. \nWe will cover model etiquette and there will be scheduled breaks throughout. \nBring your own materials: easel and drawing pad\, sketchbook and color pencils\, watercolor set up\, anything that doesn’t require excessive ventilation or other special accommodations. Rossi \n \n“Ross-ee”\, he/they\, b. 1994 in Long Island\, NY. \nI’m Rossi\, a self-taught artist based in central Ohio working with oil paint and digital media. My work centers on the human figure\, focusing on the body and exploring themes of gender\, solitude\, personhood\, and the human experience. \nI paint a wide array of genders and body types\, and many are androgynous to a degree. Part of my mission is to promote body positivity and gender diversity in the art world and other contexts. \nI’d always been an artsy kid growing up\, and began studying drawing fundamentals trying to learn how to make comics. I ended up falling in love with figure drawing\, and that’s most of what I’ve been doing since. \nCommon to all my work now is painting my subject with bold textures and colors.
