Introducing the Ohio Feminist Art Museum Book Club – Her Chapter

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of Her Chapter, the Ohio Feminist Art Museum’s very own Feminist Book Club! Created as a space to share stories, spark discussion, and build community, Her Chapter invites readers of all identities to gather, reflect, and connect over powerful feminist literature.

Led by the insightful and dynamic Loraine Stone, each quarterly gathering brings lively conversation and thoughtful exploration of the themes that shape our lives, art, language, and liberation.

Our inaugural meeting took place on July 6, 2025, at the Columbus Metropolitan Library, where a small and mighty group came together to discuss Hood Feminism by Mikki Kendall. The room buzzed with stories, critiques, laughter, and genuine connection—proof that books can be both catalysts for change and invitations to community.

We’re already looking ahead to our next chapter—literally!
Join us on Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 6:00 to 7:30, at the Columbus Metropolitan Library downtown for a discussion of Wordslut: A Feminist Guide to Taking Back the English Language by Amanda Montell. This bold and witty exploration of language, gender, and power is sure to stir fresh insights and passionate conversation.

Let’s read, question, and grow—together.
